Solvent-borne, microporous and moisture-regulating multicoat alkyd lacquer (primer, intermediate and finish coats) with a satin finish. Provides excellent edge coverage and adhesion to woodwork and existing coats of lacquer. Extremely durable and resistant to weathering, UV rays and soiling thanks to the Silicone Technology.
Ideal for all types of outdoor substrates — window frames, doors, cornices, furniture… — exposed to adverse weather conditions.
Based on a silicone-modified resin that provides the product with excellent outdoor durability. This technology maintains the stability of the binder under a wide range of weather conditions such as UV radiation, weathering and frost.

Bare or previously painted outdoor and indoor woodwork.
Can be applied on previously painted substrates made of: metal, hard PVC...
Do not apply on horizontal surfaces that are in constant contact with water, nor on stairs, parquet and hardwood floors.
Is not suitable for bare exotic woods.

Method of dilution
Ready-to-use.
On slightly powdery or absorbent substrates, dilute the first coat with 5 to 10% white spirit.
Do not dilute the product if you want to isolate a water-soluble stain.
Available shades
With the 3 bases (W, M and TR), obtain a range of over 30,000 shades.
Please be aware that the darker the shade, the weaker the resistance to abrasion and to UV rays.
Precautions for use
Our MULTALKYD ST contains an alkyd resin and cannot be applied on bare substrates made of zinc (galvanised steel and copper contain zinc). Make sure that the primer or previous coat of paint/lacquer is applied over the whole surface of the substrate to stop the fatty acids in the resin from reacting with these bare materials. This would result in zinc soaps which will unstick the lacquer over time.
Please be aware that the satin aspect will only show once the lacquer has dried through (after 28 days). During this period of complete drying, the lacquer’s film will appear shinier.
